I had oscommerce auto installed by hosting company cpanel at http://cxwebhosting.com but now im trying to decide if ill need a cert ? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Do you have to have one? No. If I were you would I get one? Yes. As little as they cost I would not even bother with a shared one but if you have to go that way a shared one is better than none at all. The Knowledge Base is a wonderful thing. Do you have a problem? Have you checked out Common Problems? There are many very useful osC Contributions Are you having trouble with a installed contribution? Have you checked out the support thread found Here BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP!!! You did backup, right??
♥Vger Posted November 21, 2004 Posted November 21, 2004 unless your only going to be taking paypal order or nochecks or something. Unfortunately that would still leave the Login, Shopping Basket, and Customer Account areas, and also the osCommerce Control Panel with out any ssl encryption. Vger
