Hi. I recently completed my first os shop and uploaded to my hosting company ipowerweb - all works fine and i'm happy with it. Problem is, I have tried to transfer it to my clients account (also with ipowerweb) but its not displaying. All i did was copy the files from my account to my clients, ftp'd them and thought all would be ok. :-"

I also want the shop front (index.php) as the home page for my client but can't get this to work either. I've searched the forums and although there are similar questions, I can't find an answer that suits my particular problems. I know I would have to have move my index.php but then the path to the other pages change and I really have very little php knowledge - although i'm trying desperately to learn.

I hope this make sense

Thanks in advance for any help

Nikki

You can move a site using the steps found HERE Now you have already moved the files but what about the database? Have you changed the paths in your configure.php files? This needs to be done for the site to work.

The Knowledge Base is a wonderful thing.

Do you have a problem? Have you checked out Common Problems?

There are many very useful osC Contributions

Are you having trouble with a installed contribution? Have you checked out the support thread found Here

BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP!!! You did backup, right??

It's difficult to answer this kind of question when all you say is it doesn't work.

Some specifics would help
