Version Identification

Ok, I am new at this. I just installed the OSC today. Now I am hitting the forums hard to learn what I can since Invision has become a bit boring. LOL

I have seen CVS and MS3. Please provide me a brief description of the two and how I can identify which I am running. Best to know this before I start modding (you call it contributions) my store.

// define the project version
define('PROJECT_VERSION', 'osCommerce 2.2-MS2');

In your application_top.php file look for the following info

// define the project version

define('PROJECT_VERSION', 'osCommerce 2.2-MS2');

If you are using osC for a production store you should be using 2.2ms2 as it is the last stable version. All the others are works in progress and unless you really know what you are doing should not be used for a store where you plan on having customers.

The Knowledge Base is a wonderful thing.

Do you have a problem? Have you checked out Common Problems?

There are many very useful osC Contributions

Are you having trouble with a installed contribution? Have you checked out the support thread found Here

BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP!!! You did backup, right??

Got it:

// define the project version
 define('PROJECT_VERSION', 'osCommerce 2.2-MS2');

Thanks

define('PROJECT_VERSION', 'osCommerce 2.2-MS2');
