Second level category page problem

I am having a problem that appears only on the one category I have that has subcategories. It appears that the new products include is being loaded and displaying the items in one long row with each table cell about 500 pixels wide (so my page is about 5000 pixels wide!). I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this and if you found a fix.

Looking at the output, I see that the images for the subcategories are being displayed at 312832 pixels width. No wonder the page is all messed up. What would cause this kind of output?
