Integration/Design Newbie

Hello,

 

I am brand new to this forum and OScommerce. I am a graphics/web developer from NH. I'm just starting out with OScommerce and am trying to integrate it into an existing website. I was wondering if anyone could give me some tips on a couple of different issues. 1: Is there any way to elimate the boxes on the sides of the initial OScommerce setup, or any way to place them in a different position? 2. Do i have to design the original website around the OScommerce setup or can i just add scripting to the original webpage without touching anything?

 

Any amount of help would be appreciated greatly!

If you are familiar with html and have an already existing site that you want to conform osC to you might want to look at the sts template contribution. It allows you to use a html template to set the layout of your site.
