"STATE" entry field

Hi,

I've noticed that oscommerce apparently does not require users to enter their state when registering for a new account. I see references to state variables in the php files, so I assume there is an easy fix. I want state to be a required entry.

 

How do I always display the state entry field in the account signup page?

Maybe oscommerce DOES include a state field. but mine is gone. I am using an unedited create_account.php. What other php files could cause this?

Check in your admin center to make sure you have the state field enabled. It is under customer details in the configuration box.
