Easy populate installation

Installing easy populate, it's installed and seems to be working, but im a bit confused by a few things.

 

1) Creating the catalog and temp folders, i have created a catalog folder in the online shop and in this i have created a temp folder, i then changed the properties of each, the permissions are now set that owner, group and all users can read, write and execute. Is that correct?

 

2)chmod777temp, i really dont know what this is and how to execute it

 

3) Configuration variables am i changing the code to replace all the stylishbydesign links to my own, and are there any other changes that need to be made?

chmod is the same as what you did at hte end of your step #1, where all can read/write/execute . .

 

you probably did it via ftp or your file manager

 

all changes you should/could make are listed in the documentation or easypopulate.php file

well since this is talking bout easy populate

 

i managed to get it installed, but i have over 500 items in the store & keep adding new ones every week

 

so how do i just add the new items in with easy populate?
