The new Products section of www.huyett.com is live. The url is http://www.huyett.com/catalog/.

The goal is to allow users to submit Request for Quotes online. I had to modify alot of stuff, but I couldn't have done it without the strong support of members in this community. Thanks everyone that helped and the authors of the contributions!

Let me know what you think, I really didn't change the layout too much, the goal was to get the functionality working.

Using osCommerce is a temporary solution for the company while we get our new ERP system online, which is running .NET and has a web module. So now I get to learn .NET (woohoo). I think the php/mysql stuff I've learned will help me with the transition.

All product information isn't totally complete, but it's enough to go live. I appreciate any positive feedback and constructive criticism.

Honestly looks wonders,

I have a couple of questions though:

1) how did add the Product categories in the center table section of the index.php?

2) how does the text lines of the quotes end up on your desk?

3) di you design the (cartoon) pics yourself too?

Great job.

On your contact_us page consider making the email links more obvious. Depending on your browser / monitor / color settings, it can be difficult to notice that "Tim O'Keeffe" is actually a link, not just text.

It seems that you've done a good job of matching design/layout to your target audience. It looks very nice.

Oh, and before Java_Roasters says it, when you say "G.L. Huyett will never sell or distribute your contact information" does that mean that you don't use 3rd party shippers? You'd certainly have to give *them* the customer's contact info . . .

Nice site - still looks very stock osc but that isnt necessarily a bad thing. Change the a.hover state for the links - that light blue stock colour looks so out of context to the rest of the site.

Green Template - My little addition to the community... :)
