meinc Posted November 17, 2004 Posted November 17, 2004 Ok now my prob is when I go to the checkout the shipping/handling is being added and shown in the checkout..just not the Tax... do I need to set something up..? I have all the proper Tax%s for all the Provinces in Canada.? do I have to turn it on some where?

niknakgroup Posted November 17, 2004 Posted November 17, 2004 Hi Micheal This might be dead simple (but might not!!) - try this: In Admin->Modules->Order Total Change the sort order of Tax (you'll probably find it hasn't got anything at all on it at the mo). Just make sure it has a lower number than the Order Total line, otherwise you will show your customer a total, with tax underneath it and your customers will get dead confused. Hope that helps! Please note - if I have suggested a contrib above, it doesnt mean it will work! Most of the contribs are not ones I've used, but may be useful for your particular problem.... Have you tried a refined search? niknakgroup Posted November 18, 2004 Posted November 18, 2004 2 quick questions - 1 - have you amended or altered the checkout_shipping.php file at all? If so, have you tried running with the original to see if the same still happens? 2 - if this happens on your checkout_shipping page, how can you see it if you aren't logged in? Do the prices display with tax on the product_info pages correctly, or is this where the problems with being logged in / logged out are occurring?
