Actually the best way is to open up your product_info.php (the one in your catalog directory) and comment out the following lines at or about line 200

Change

<td align="center" class="smallText"><?php echo sprintf(TEXT_DATE_AVAILABLE, tep_date_long($product_info['products_date_available'])); ?></td>

to this

<td align="center" class="smallText"><?php //echo sprintf(TEXT_DATE_AVAILABLE, tep_date_long($product_info['products_date_available'])); ?></td>

Change

<td align="center" class="smallText"><?php echo sprintf(TEXT_DATE_ADDED, tep_date_long($product_info['products_date_added'])); ?></td>

to this

<td align="center" class="smallText"><?php// echo sprintf(TEXT_DATE_ADDED, tep_date_long($product_info['products_date_added'])); ?></td>

The Knowledge Base is a wonderful thing.

Do you have a problem? Have you checked out Common Problems?

There are many very useful osC Contributions

Thanks for your response. When I try to open the file in every way I know I always get the

define('TEXT_DATE_ADDED', 'This product was added to our catalog on %s.');

and I really want to see the actual code

<td align="center" class="smallText"><?php echo sprintf(TEXT_DATE_AVAILABLE, tep_date_long($product_info['products_date_available'])); ?></td>

How or where do I need to open the file from to see the actual code?

I know this must be a lame question but I really don't know.

Thanks again.

You are opening the wrong file. You need to open up your product_info.php file in your catalog directory or root directory if you are not using a catalog directory.

The file you are opening now is the one in your includes/languages/english/ folder and that is the wrong one.

ok, I was in the wrong file. I opened Products_Info in the root and I find

$product_check_query = tep_db_query("select count(*) as total from " . TABLE_PRODUCTS . " p, " . TABLE_PRODUCTS_DESCRIPTION . " pd where p.products_status = '1' and p.products_id = '" . $javascript = 'popup_window.js';

I am still in the wrong one...

You are not using a default osC install. It looks like you are using the bts template system.

You need to go to your templat/content/product_info.tpl.php file and look for the lines there.
