Silver&Shell Posted November 17, 2004 Posted November 17, 2004 Hi, I have a new oscommerce website selling jewellery. Everything looks good apart from my thumbnails for the products. I have set the sizes as- Width 115 PX Lenght 120PX Some of the thumbnails look fine, some too long, some too wide. I know I should probably standardize the original images but I don't know how best to do that? Any ideas? Cheers, Joe

This will keep the porportions correct in the thumbnails. If however you have some images that are oddly shaped then you will have some issues with how they fit on the page. The Knowledge Base is a wonderful thing. Do you have a problem? Have you checked out Common Problems? There are many very useful osC Contributions Are you having trouble with a installed contribution? Have you checked out the support thread found Here BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP!!! You did backup, right??
radders Posted November 19, 2004 Posted November 19, 2004 Make sure you include on of the image contributions that resamples your images, otherwise your thumbnails will just be resized in the browser and look poor quality even if you get the proportions correct.
