Download File after Payment

Hey everyone. Can someone direct me to the process of how to setup my store to go to a download link after someone has completed the order? I of course am having a little bit of trouble figuring it out

OK, I think this is it.

 

I am after exactly the same thing. Any feedback yet. I see that Taxcafe Uk do it very well and I want to do it like that.

I am using Linda McGrath's Download Controller 5.3 and it has worked very well.

 

What isn't included in the instructions (or doesn't seem to be clear to many people) is that you have to set the appropriate attributes/permissions for the download folder & the downloadable files -- and you have to set up a download option in Admin-->Catalog-->Products Attributes after you get it installed.

 

It has worked very well for me so far. It also has options for free shipping/free products, which is useful for us.
