I'm very new to PHP and currently trying to help set up a site for a friends shop. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to change the look and feel of the site. (Ie Add his company logo etc). I tried a search on the forums but didn't get what I was looking for. I apologize if it's been posted before.

Please help!

You can install the STS contribution to make quick and easy changes. Most people new to OSC use this intially I think. To change the look and feel of your site otherwise, requires a number of files to be edited. Not hard once you get the hang of it but usually quite intimidating to a newbie. Changing the logo is very easy though and can be found by doing a serach for that as it gets asked quite often. It is also explained in the sites wiki documentation (see link at top of page) and there is a contribution that explains many first time users problems (although I cannot recall the name currently). This should get you started.
