help!! just when I thought I was installed...

oscommerce told me that I had finally connected to the database successfully and then I tried to access the catalog page and I see this screen:

 

Warning: main(includes/application_top.php): failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/isolac5/public_html/catalog/index.php on line 13

 

Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required 'includes/application_top.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/isolac5/public_html/catalog/index.php on line 13

 

I have no idea what I did wrong or how to change this. This is the first time that I'm working with a website and I have NO knowledge whatsoever. Any help would be apprieciated.

The error you're having is really easy but i'm guessing you have know knowledge of what i want to tell you to do so i think we need to talk on yahoo or something so i can help you step by step. My yahoo is lts_lvlr_l3ean (copy and paste). You have a permissions error. You need to do 1 or 2 things to make the file readable on the web and you the owner. B)
