To many n's

First may I say what a brillant piece of software, fairly easy to use and excellent results!

 

My problem is that when the category page is opened there are n's down the left hand side, I would appreciate any help in removing them!!

Did you use the File Manager in admin to edit the file? It adds carriage returns which are encoded as '\n'. The editor treats them as carriage returns (new lines). The web site is treating them as the letter n and displaying them. Edit the file in a different editor and upload it.

ISSUE:

Display shows the 'n' character in index page when categories are selected.

 

You have edited the index.php using the online file manager which has removed the \ backslashes from the code, this is a known issue with using the file manager to edit files, it is better to use an ftp program such as ws_ftp to download the file and edit it locally then ftp back to the server.

 

FIX:

To fix this issue you will need to find the 4 instances of "n"; on your index.php and change them to "\n";

Thank you very much it's now working fine!! Although I have not edited that index.php I have the one in the english folder but not that one!! Strange.
