URL REWRITE

hi, i have a url something like

 

index.php?page=a1

 

i want to mask it to something like

 

index.html

 

i know theres a contribution called SEF URL REWRITE, how ever it is too complicated for me, is there an easy way to do the above please?

The SEF URL rewrite is about as simple as it gets.

 

I'd suggest first learning how to use REGEX expressions and then practive using them. The power of regex is tremendous, applications wide, and once learned pretty easy to understand. It just takes a good tutorial...
