Users add products only under thier category

We are using the this great cart for an art gallery and now we want to be able to make a mod or mod the ADMIN section so the Artist each have a login and once logged in can add their own piece (Products) to the database. The catch is the product categories are really each artist, therefor we want it so when an artist logs into the admin section he/she can add their art (Products) and can only do so to their category and no other.

 

I know and have reviewed all the admin login mods but is there anything out there like what were looking for or a way to change and existing mod to accomidate our need to like available categories to the person logged in the admin section?
