Guest
Are you installing this on your own server, or on a webhost? What goal are you trying to accomplish? Are you just trying it out, or are you trying to build a real store? osCommerce is powerful, flexible, and the best overall cart out, but does require some PHP programming and database understanding. It's ok that you're not familiar with that yet, but you've got to be willing to put in the time to learn. -jared
ariuks333
I was trying to install to my computer. Which is easyer to install on my own server or on webhost? I would like to create my own store with osCommerce. I understand that it will be pretty hard in the beginning, but I am willing to learn. I would be really greatefull if someone could help me to start osCommerce from the very beginning. Thanx.
ariuks333
I have downloaded and installed these files: apache_1.3.33-win32-x86-no_src and php-4.3.9-installer. Are these correct files? When I try to start the server by clicking Start > Program File > Apache HTTP Server > I should see something like "Start Apache in Console", but I don't see anything like that. What should I do in my case???
