kaboom Posted November 15, 2004 Posted November 15, 2004 I am trying to run that online installation tool on my localhost so that I can do some development and testing. So far it gets stuck on rendering the page after you input all the db info. Once I enter that info and click next and just shows half of the page and I cant get past that. I am guessing there is some error...but i cant actually see what it is...bc it doesnt get rendered. Is there a way to manually configure (i have configured the configure.php's as well) and not have the index.php redirect me to the install.php?

You are not alone!
Guest Posted November 17, 2004 Posted November 17, 2004 that has been experienced with php5. although i see one listed here with 4.3.2, which is way too old, you should use 4.3.9
Mark Silver Posted November 17, 2004 Posted November 17, 2004 Found (lots) more info in this forum at: http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=79078&st= A little confusing towards the bottom, however there was a resolution.
