Hello,

I would like to use the credit card module on my OsCom website. So when i get any orders, along with it I also get the credit card detials of the customer.

Then I can manually charge the customers with the order total.

I see there is a credit card module in the payment modules listed.

how do I use it?

I also see some informtion like:

Credit Card Test Info:

CC#: 4111111111111111

Expiry: Any

what is this? Do we need to change it? How to do so?

Kindly help.

Thanks

hk

have you tried enabling the module and seeing what you get for options?

use the split credit card option within the module, part of the cc will stay on the server, the other part will be emailed.

one thing to note, if you are processing cc's offline and without the cc, most merchant accounts will charge you a higher rate because of not having the card to swipe.

Why not just ANSWER that SIMPLE question!

Credit Card Test Info:

CC#: 4111111111111111

Expiry: Any

Meaning....

=========

1) You install module

2) Place a test order and checkout

3) Choose credit card as your payment option and enter ENTER 4111111111111111 as your credit card number and use ANY DATE as the exp date.

Simple, huh?

4111111111111111 is Visa's test CC number that will not get processed because they know it is only being used for testing purposes. Same way with osC.
