Categories and Products Images Folder Tree

I have installed this contribution and it is working for each NEW product I add.

 

However, when I make a change to an existing product (for example, a change to the product description) without AGAIN uploading the original image, attempts to duplicate the folder tree and, since the file isn't really down that deep, it can't find it - broken link.

 

More clearly...

 

If the image was originally uploaded to: dvd_movies/cartoons/bugs_life.gif

 

After an update (without re-uploading) it looks for: dvd_movies/cartoons/dvd_movies/cartoons/bugs_life.gif

 

I don't want to have to re-upload each time I change a price or description.

 

Am I missing something?
