New Installation

can anyone help me out here, i'm trying to figure my installation and i keep getting these error during my database config

 

i have created a mySQL database and user name from my hosting service and am trying put in the values into the install process but keep getting this message.

 

here are the values i'm using

 

OsCommerce Configuration

Database server: shopsilvertime.com

Username: shopsilv_admin

password: xxxxxx

Database Name: shopsilv_shop

persisten connections (unckecked)

session storage (file)

 

osCommerce Configuration

 

A test connection made to the database was NOT successful.

 

The error message returned is:

 

Access denied for user: '[email protected]' (Using password: YES)

 

Please click on the Back button below to review your database server settings.

 

If you require help with your database server settings, please consult your hosting company.

 

 

I'm not sure where the @network-consultants.net is coming from....but i think that there is my problem...I tried looking in the configure.php file but i'm afraid if i put the values in manually my database structure won't be created.

Should the Database server be localhost ?

database server is most likely localhost

set store sessions to mysql

okay now it says:

check with your host for the proper way to access your database server.
