Attributes question...

Hey people!

I'm just settting a bunch of attributes on oscommerce for my products, the problem is sometimes in some products that i've added the attributes to they actually show alphabetically but on some other products they get mixed up like A, D, B, K, A, B! Is there any way to make sure my attributes always show up alphabetically no matter what? We actually put all the attributes in alphabetically which was a big pain! So if there's another method of A. Adding the attributes however we want and having oscommerce automatically show them alphabetically and B. Have them display correctly on all product pages?
