How to replace introduction in start page

I've just installed Os-Commerce:

1) how can I replace that annoying introduction in index.html page with something different?;

2) can I replace Os-Commerce logo with my logo, and in positive case how can I do that?

For your logo, upload it into the 'images' folder, and just alter the file name etc in includes/header.php
