Guest Posted November 13, 2004 Posted November 13, 2004 Hi Guys, Pardon me if this question has been asked before, but a search did not come up with anything useful, nor is there any sticky thread that pple can refer to. I would like to create a demo/development site using a fresh installation from daily snapshot. Problem is, how do I perform a fresh installation from the snapshot package? I cannot get it to work. Do I need to structure the files and folders just like 2.2 MS2, and transfer them to the server before installing? Maybe someone can write an article or put up a sticky thread on this. I believe there may be pple like me, wanting to set up a new test site with snapshots, and maybe contribute to the opensource effort (by submitting bugs, or even writing or providing code to fix bugs in snapshots). Thank You.
Guest Posted November 14, 2004 Posted November 14, 2004 My understanding is that some snapshots are better than others - - you might be able install from one, not from another. I'd try another snapshot. -jared
