plumtek Posted November 12, 2004 Posted November 12, 2004 Hi all Im currently designing a 'customer website', where our clients will be able to log in, review their accounts, view their network maps, make payments etc Part of the intended purpose is for clients to be able to order consumables etc Oscommerce appears to be up to the task, but since the client has already logged in (to our 'product'), is there an easy way to forgo the login screen and automatically log them into oscommerce from the pre-existing cookies? We will never have the general public using oscommerce, only our existing clients.... Has anyone successfully done something similar and has some tips? Thanks!
Guest Posted November 12, 2004 Posted November 12, 2004 Not an easy way. There have been contributions to integrate phpBB with osC, basically using a nuked phpBB. I do remember seeing a nuked osC port somewhere. Ok - -here it is: http://ns254.ovh.net/%7Eosc4nuke/html/ . You could see how they integrate the login and try to do the same thing. -jared
