Guest Posted November 12, 2004 Posted November 12, 2004 We have created a storefront for a customer; within the storefront they would like to offer to their clients a free gift, in otherwords a product that costs $0. There are also other products within the storefront that are not free, i.e $20, $35, etc. Is there a way to charge $0 for shipping on the products that cost $0 while still charging normal rates on normal priced products? Thanks for your help! Quote
Guest Posted November 12, 2004 Posted November 12, 2004 depends upon how you are doing your shipping, there is a contribution for free shipping, i think you can specify it to a particular product. are you going to use a handling fee for the product or is it a virtual product? Quote

No, there will be no handling fee for the $0 products or the normal priced products; the customer ordering the $0 priced product should see $0 Total when they checkout; they will pay with a PO number. All other products not priced at $0 would be charged UPS shipping based on weight. I'm not sure if i follow you when you say "there is a contribution for free shipping"? Thanks again for your help.
