what to do next

hello,im trying to figure out what and where to edit site files after downloaded from a ftp.im using core ftp lite and now that i can download my files,is there a program i need to open the files and edit them.

 

like after i connect to my host site to download the files,i see the files in a list.this is where im stuck.i dont know how to access the file to edit from there.

 

any help would be great,jeremiah

any code editing software is fine, but id just use NotePad
