MarkTroyer Posted November 11, 2004 Posted November 11, 2004 Hi everyone, I just started researching the features in oscommerce this week for a friend to implement for her Herbalife business. The idea is that she would like to automate the process of placing orders. In the short term, she anticipates that she will need to place most of the orders herself for customers. The short term benefit will be that invoices will automatically be sent to the customer via email. In the longer term, she anticipates that her customers will place orders on the system themselves. In the standard 2.2-MS2 release, it appears that the admin can not create a "proxy" order for a given customer. She would have to log in as the user and place the order for the customer. Has anybody ever written any PHP code that allows the admin to create an order for a customer? I have done several searches in the knowledge base but could not find anything.. Thanks for any hints or tips. Regards, Mark
radders Posted November 11, 2004 Posted November 11, 2004 Step-By-Step Manual Order Entry I'm not sure if it is much faster than logging is as the customer and placing an order having never tried it.
MarkTroyer Posted November 11, 2004 Author Posted November 11, 2004 Wow. Thanks David for the pointer. On the surface, this looks like what I need. I will installed it tomorrow and see if it make the management process easier... Thanks again for the quick response. Regards, Mark
