ok lets see if I understand you here.

 

You are on the main page of your website where you see New Products for Month box in the center. You want to have a box display in this area showing your current specials, and you want it to show before your new products box...correct??

 

There is a contribution called:

 

Specials on Default

 

This will enable you to display your specials on the default/index page. When you are installing it, just place it above the code for New products and you will have what you want. :)
