Small Problem with CSS!

Hi Guys,

I wonder if you can help me.

On my site I have tried editing the CSS file to change the infoboxheader part to make my headers blue. I then uploaded this to the root dir (catalog).

I am also using BTS so to be sure I put this in my template directory but it ceases to show the difference and is not blue

as seen here!

I then uploaded the same CSS file into the secure section of the site (SSL, https://) and it works fine. I am using exactly the same files in both http:// and https:// but it only shows up in the secure part.

Working

I tried replacing all the files in the main root with the ones from the secure section but it still didnt work!

How can I fix this as it is really bugging me!

Thankyou

The code is correct: the css-file you are referring to more than once (and not in the <head> section) is in the root level (../stylesheet.css). In that file the productListing-heading is defined:

.productListing-heading {
 font-family: Verdana, Arial, sans-serif;
 font-size: 10px;
 background: url(images/infobox/corner_right_left.gif);
 color: #FFFFFF;
 font-weight: bold;
}

Thanks for the reply!

I have had a look in the main root at the .css file and this is the code I have now

.productListing-heading {
 font-family: Verdana, Arial, sans-serif;
 font-size: 10px;
 background: #4842be;
 color: #FFFFFF;
 font-weight: bold;
}

It still doesnt show the header as the colour #4842be.

What should I do?

I think you will find that the 'background' definition will actually just give you a blue border, and that the 'color' definition gives you the foreground colour of the heading.

Vger
