I am a newbie to osCommerce. I do know some CSS and HTML. On my site

I have one HTML page (index.html) all other pages are osCommerce. I can

link to index.php from my index.html page, but I do not know how to change

the index.php home link to link back to my index.html page.

Please excuse this request, I am sure that this question has been asked before.

I did do a search of this forum before posting and could not find a post that I

could understand. I would like to add that I am grateful to all contributors of

the osCommerce project for their hard work and support.

Thanks, Kathy

i dont quite understand what you want, what home link? in the breadcrumbs?(top)

because that automaticaly links to the first page of your site.

is your site in the root folder or in a subfolder like 'public/www/shop'?

Every host is different, your site will look for file names in a particular order such as main, default, index, etc. Ask your host what the order of the file names is. In your breadcrumb trail Top is the web sites "default" page and "catalog" is the index.php page. Depending on how your site is configured they could be different or they could be the same page. First step is to find out what the order is, the second step is to configure your html file so that it shows up first.

My site is http://trinketsbytrinity.com/

View shopping cart links to http://www.trinketsbytrinity.com/vcom/

but I can't go back to http://trinketsbytrinity.com/ from the shopping

cart by clicking home at the top of the shopping cart pages. I did not

understand that the set of links at the top of the shopping cart are

called bread crumbs.

Thanks, Kathy

all you need to do is set the hyperlink for the home button in your cart to go to 'http://www.trinketsbytrinity.com/index.html' and then it will go back to your main page.

so just check the hyperlink because at the moment it is pointing to 'http://www.trinketsbytrinity.com/vcom/index.php' and that will just make you go round in circles.
