This probably relates to how you uploaded the files in the first instance. Text files should be uploaded via FTP in ASCII Mode, while images should be uploaded in Binary Mode. If you upload images in ASCII mode, some of them won't display at all, and some will appear to be scrambled.

Also the image dimensions for the flags in 'Langauges' info box are showing as 1px x 1px (which is why I only see two tiny dots where they should be).

Agh!! Just a thought. Go to your IE Browser Tools -->Internet Options, then Advanced, and see if 'Enable Automatic Image Resizing' is selected. By default it is, and you'll need to turn this off.

Thanks a lot for your help!

Now I also see the small flags! How can I force the browser to display the real size? (i cant ask everybody who visits my page to modify his Browser Properties ;-)

I uploaded the images yesterday once more in binary but it didnt change anything... Any idea?

Thanks!

Sorry, but this is the default setting with IE6.  Bu it's not as bad as it looks - as most people get fed up of seeing images resized and find out how to turn this feature off.

Sorry to bother you once more, but I switched this Resizing-Thing off and I still cant see the pics in a bigger size. Other pages I made in html show the images always in the right size on the same explorer-version... Is it maybe because I use "sts"?

Thanks for reading!

Also i wonder why some buttons show up in original size (like the search-icon next to the searchbox) and some in this 1px x 1px size (like the language flags).

Any suggestions? Thanks for helping!
