Easypopulate doesn't work

Guest

Recommended Posts

Hi FOlks,

I am completely mystified by the behaviour of Easypolulate.

I have read the instructions and read many posts in this forum

but I get the follwoing problem.

It seems to only insert or update the first row of data, and thats' it!

To test this, I downloaded a tab delimited file using Easypopulate

I go into the Admin section and delete say Monitors from the categories.

I then use the downloaded file to populate the database.

Once again I just get the first row updated, but my Monitors have gone forever :(

Any help would be appreciated!

Did this get resolved? What was the answer? I have the SAME problem.

And by the way, the message that was supposed to have the link to the support site for Easypopulate did not have the link in it!

Thanks!

Yes I did and do have the temp directory as per documentation, (catalog\temp),

and it is creating the files in there.

Yes, does everyone answer this question with a series of "did you's"??

The root of the problem is PHP 5.0, easypopulate is not compatible with it.

Thanks Mike! At least I know I can stop wating more time and try the Excel import module instead.
