where is DB name, id, and password defined

Checked there and there is no info, checked a osCommerce that is still working and nothing.

 

Where else would it be?

I see where they SHOULD be defined but this is another working configure.php that is working and it does not list the specific dbname, id or pass, like it should.

 

 

 

 

Pretty clear to me at the bottom of the configure.php files....

The configure.php file that you posted is not controling a working store. It has no database info or url info and no osC store would run using that file.

The Knowledge Base is a wonderful thing.

Do you have a problem? Have you checked out Common Problems?

There are many very useful osC Contributions

Are you having trouble with a installed contribution? Have you checked out the support thread found Here
