Here is the code for my index.php. I used the admin tool "File Manager" to update the text for 'TEXT_MAIN' and did not take out any parenthesis or anything and now I'm getting this parse error. Please help! The actual error is below the code.

<?php

define('TABLE_HEADING_NEW_PRODUCTS', 'New Products For %s');

define('TABLE_HEADING_UPCOMING_PRODUCTS', 'Upcoming Products');

define('TABLE_HEADING_DATE_EXPECTED', 'Date Expected');

if ( ($category_depth == 'products') || (isset($HTTP_GET_VARS['manufacturers_id'])) ) {

define('HEADING_TITLE', 'Let's See What We Have Here');

define('TABLE_HEADING_IMAGE', '');

define('TABLE_HEADING_MODEL', 'Model');

define('TEXT_BUY', 'Buy 1 '');

define('TEXT_NOW', '' now');

} elseif ($category_depth == 'top') {

define('HEADING_TITLE', 'What's New Here?');

} elseif ($category_depth == 'nested') {

I think the period is ok, but you'll need to change...

define('HEADING_TITLE', 'Let's See What We Have Here');

to

define('HEADING_TITLE', 'Let\'s See What We Have Here');

Do NOT use the filemanager to edit your php files, as it will strip all of your escape characters out.

Download a text editor with ftp capability and use that instead.

Thanks a bunch. Problem is, I am currently at work and we're behind a firewall, which prevents me from using ftp... :-(

Anyway, guess I will try the suggestions when I get home tonight. Thanks again for the quick reply.

Thanks to you all. I went home and updated with primalscript and then just overwrote the one that was out there, using core ftp and all was well.

I didn't need to do anything with the period but I assumed that your slash was the wrong way.

Thanks again and you all have a wonderful day! :thumbsup:
