The e-commerce.

link backs and address

Recommended Posts

I have been working on getting links to my site.

I have been using my .com/ address for the links and have received several links and my google rating is up to two(not great but getting there).

My problem is that my logo is set through filenames to go to .com/index.php which only has a rating of one.

Is this a problem and if so how do I change the direction of the logo to go to .com/ rather than index.php without losing the index for the page?

Make sense?

You need to change how the tep_href_link function works. In includes/functions/html_output.php, find this code in the function tep_href_link

 if (tep_not_null($parameters)) {
     $link .= $page . '?' . tep_output_string($parameters);
     $separator = '&';
   } else {
     $link .= $page;
     $separator = '?';

and right before it place this code

if ($page === '/')
 $page = str_replace("/", "", $page);

and then use it like this

    </td><td class="infoBoxHeading"><?php echo '<a  title="My Site" href="' . tep_href_link('/', '', 'NONSSL') . '">' . "My Site" . '</a>'; ?></td>

Your anchor text should be your keyword for best SE results.
