It never ceases to amaze me the simplest routines that elude me.

I have read the knowledge base, I have had my Hosting Provider set the directories permissions appropriately.

Has anyone else experienced the following issue when navigating to the admin page?

IISPassword

The page cannot be displayed

There is a problem with the page youare trying to reach and it cannot be displayed. It is most likely that configuration files for this url are corrupted.

I find it interesting that the rest of osCommerce runs just fine, I am tempted to just do the settings on the DB side - but I am thinking of tha actual end user who will be running this site and want to make they can do it without having to routinely access the backend db

So am I crazy?

I have found a different approach - I was trying to access the admin page but when I finally got it working- It would give no input file so I decided to go with the XOOPS portal system which has an osCommerce add-on module, I installed the whole package and within 10 minutes it was up and running like a charm - go figure.
