Hi everybody!

I'm trying to put a link in the index.php like this after the :

define('TEXT_MAIN', '

<a href="<?php echo tep_href_link(FILENAME_PRODUCTS_NEW, \'\', \'SSL\'); ?>" class="boxText"><?php echo BOX_HEADING_WHATS_NEW; ?></a>

But nothing shows up?

How can I put a link and don't loose the session when I click on the link???

Thank you!

Try the following. Notw that you should always include a title attribute.

 <a title="What's New" href="' . tep_href_link(FILENAME_PRODUCTS_NEW, '', 'SSL') . '">' . 'What\'s New</a>

Two reasons. First, for their intended purpose. They provide the popup text when someone places the mouse over the link. This makes the page more user friendly. Second, there is some indication that the word(s) used here will provide some SEO benefit to the page you are linking to.
