how many really of them change on a daily basis ?

i'd essentially make a daily diff and generate a sql update statement from this.

if you have a odbc database connection you could even do all of this is msaccess

I do not use the responsive bootstrap version since i coded my responsive version earlier, but i have bought every 28d of code package to support burts effort and keep this forum alive (albeit more like on life support).

So if you are still here ? What are you waiting for ?!

Find the most frequent unique errors to fix:

grep "PHP" php_error_log.txt | sed "s/^.* PHP/PHP/g" |grep "line" |sort | uniq -c | sort -r > counterrors.txt

My two cents on how I would try to write a script for that:

- Query the database for the product codes of that supplier.

- Provided I could change the dat file to a text file (if it isn't allready) I would do a file read and parse it to a multidimensional array using the product code as the array key. If the product code is not in the database yet, I would have that written to a file (obviously that is a new product) otherwise it would go in the multidimensional array.

- Then looping through the multidimensional array I would do the

UPDATE products SET products_quantity = ".$array['amount'].", products_price = ".$array['price']." WHERE manufacturers_id = ".$array['product_code'].";

Personally I would make a page with a form for uploading the text file, the upload would trigger the script and give me a link to the file with the new product codes on the refresh or on the next page.
