Missing Orders

lately (the past month), we've been getting missing orders. We get the payment, but no order is logged in the admin, so we have no idea what to ship. This is occuring on both our oscommerce sites, which run the same milestone, but different shipping modules..

 

Sometimes it occurs with paypal, sometimes with authorize'net.

 

Any ideas?

This is caused by the customer not being directed to the checkout success page. With paypal it is caused by them not clicking on continue after they pay. You can install the shopping cart ipn to fix that. One contribution you should install is recover cart sales. This will let you see all dropped carts no matter why they were dropped. I would not have a store running without it.
