Cookies are screwed

I have set my IE configuration to "accept all cookies" ( LOW )... And it still says I don't have cookies enabled and wont let me move on, on my own cart.. I set force cookie, because i read in a contrib, that it's good to use... But there must be something wrong with cookies being sent, because my config accepts all cookies...

Only use the 'Force Cookie Use' feature if you have a full SSL installed on your website. Either that or take a PHD in PHP! Otherwise neither you nor any of your customers will ever be able to checkout.

Hmm, so if i cough up the 90 dollars to ipower for dedicated SSL, i could use the force cookies?

Personally, is there any need for the "force cookies"?

Also, what's better, having your URL bar show your host account, or use your domain on a shared ssl, and have a box come up saying "all were good, but the SSL is for this host, not this host, would you like to proceed"?
