Easy Populate

I downloaded Easy Populate, and as directed I modified catalog.php and uploaded the two files easypopulate.php and easypopulate_functions into admin. I was able to download text

delimited file via EP and to that file I added a test

item (an extra row at the bottom), uploaded again and

no item is added to my web site.

In your guidelines it says:

===================

'4. Make sure that you have a directory called

catalog/temp'

===================

It is my guess that EP will upload to this directory,

however when I look at my directory structure thru

FTP, I don't see any directory catalog/temp. Maybe

that's the reason no new items are added?

This is the directory structure I have:

osCommerce (main folder) then inside that I have

folders.

------->admin

------->download

------->images

------->includes

------->pub

then some files

Is it here that maybe I should create a folder

'catalog' and a folder 'temp' inside it or that my main directory 'osCommerce' is being referred to by everyone as the 'catalog' and that I should create a folder 'temp' inside it? Do I have to make any changes inside easypopulate.php since all my folders are inside a directory 'osCommerce' or maybe I should rename this directory 'osCommerce' as 'catalog'?

Then in step 6 the guidelines say :

=======================

6. The file will be uploaded to your store. You

should see a display that lists the items you are

importing

=======================

I do not see any such display.

Finally,

Is there a publish feature in the store that helps publish new entries to the store which I may be missing?

If so, where is that 'publish' button located?

Can someone please helpfigure out what's going on?

Thank you
