2 customers 1 email address?

The my clients are processing purchases by mail and are trying to create accounts for them in the admin area and are putting their own email addresses when creating accounts because the customers did not supply email addresses if purchasing by mail. They are processing them through the cart to keep the stock levels accurate and use the credit card facility.


What its doing is rejecting the email address because its already been used in another account because they are using their own. Is there a way to bypass this???

If you have a catch all mail box then you could add the address as [email protected]. In 99.9% of the cases that would work. That would also give you an accurate account of their transactions/etc. as it would be totally seperate from all the other accounts.
