2 Logo files?

Hi,

I want to put 2 logos at the top, aligned left and right.

Is there an easy way to do this? For example some modification to

(FILENAME_DEFAULT) . '">' . tep_image(DIR_WS_IMAGES . 'logo.jpg' , 'osCommerce') . '</a>'; ?></td>
   <td align="right" valign="bottom"><?php //echo '<a href="' . tep_href_link

in header.php.

Thanks :)

Hi,

You could make a jpg or gif file, for example a picture with 400 x 50 pixels. In a photo editor you could paste two logos in it.

True, but thers a reason. I want my Website logo to go left and an animated gif to go right. However I want them to look like one banner, so they will each be half the site width. Flash is probably the best way to go but getting the site working is challenge enough :) I've never done any php or html let alone flash.

Hi,

Same here. I just started learning php about three weeks ago, after discovering oscommerce :D

So please NO questions about programming or Flash...

You could simply change the top table/row from:

<table border="0" width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">
?<tr class="header">
? ?<td valign="middle"><?php echo '<a href="' . tep_href_link(FILENAME_DEFAULT) . '">' . tep_image(DIR_WS_IMAGES . 'oscommerce.gif', 'osCommerce') . '</a>'; ?></td>
? ?<td align="right" valign="bottom"><?php echo '<a href="' . tep_href_link(FILENAME_ACCOUNT, '', 'SSL') . '">' . tep_image(DIR_WS_IMAGES . 'header_account.gif', HEADER_TITLE_MY_ACCOUNT) . '</a>  <a href="' . tep_href_link(FILENAME_SHOPPING_CART) . '">' . tep_image(DIR_WS_IMAGES . 'header_cart.gif', HEADER_TITLE_CART_CONTENTS) . '</a>  <a href="' . tep_href_link(FILENAME_CHECKOUT_SHIPPING, '', 'SSL') . '">' . tep_image(DIR_WS_IMAGES . 'header_checkout.gif', HEADER_TITLE_CHECKOUT) . '</a>'; ?>  </td>
?</tr>
</table>

to:

<table border="0" width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">
?<tr>
<td width="50%" align="left"><img src="images/image1.jpg"></td>
<td width="50% align="right"><img src="images/image2.jpg"></td>
?</tr>
</table>

and that will get rid of the 4 images displayed on the top of your page (the OSCommerce logo and the 'my account', 'cart contents' and 'checkout' .gifs) and replace them with one table row comprised of 2 colums, one left-aligned which includes your left image of choice, and the other right-aligned with your right image of choice.

THANKS! :thumbsup:

[/code]<td width="50%" align="left"><img src="images/image1.jpg"></td>

<td width="50% align="right"><img src="images/image2.jpg"></td>

This was the clue I needed. I'm using STS so I needed to loose the existing logo definition and replace it with your code. Works a treat.
