USPS Methods contrib error

Guest

Recommended Posts

I've installed the USPS Methods contrib. At checkout I get the following error messages:

Warning: feof(): supplied resource is not a valid stream resource in /usr/home/quidditywebcom/public_html/test_osC/includes/classes/http_client.php on line 385

Warning: fgets(): supplied resource is not a valid stream resource in /usr/home/quidditywebcom/public_html/test_osC/includes/classes/http_client.php on line 386

Warning: feof(): supplied resource is not a valid stream resource in /usr/home/quidditywebcom/public_html/test_osC/includes/classes/http_client.php on line 385

These messages are in a continuous loop, filling the browser. Anyone see this before?

Thanks,

Ed

Some further searching through the forums suggests that the USPS either never implemented or have turned off the transit time capability.

Hi ed or anyone else reading,

I just suddenly had the same problem. It was working fine and then suddenly crashed with this error. And low and behold on your cue it fixed with turning off transit time. Oddly it only broke in this one store; my other stores still work fine. I tried 5 different usps modules and they all returned the same error.

I was poking around in usps.php today so I am totally surprized but since I uninstalled it and reinstalled it several times, with different versions, and still continued to get the error, I am confused. I installed ups and it works and I can install usps as long as transit time is turned off and it was on and has been always on.

Of course I will post if I figure it out. But if any one else has a clue, please do tell.

Edward

I have moved on from oscommerce to magento and no longer monitoring this site.
