Changing the page header title

Recommended Posts

here's my site:

On the upper left hand corner, you can see that it says:

"OSCommerce CRE Loaded 6 Store - Microsoft Internet Explore"

I've looked everywhere but can't find the file that controls the page title.

it is in catalog > includes > languages > english.php

or whatever language u r using

Here's what my original english.php looks like:

// page title

define('TITLE', 'Your Store Name, change in catalog/includes/languages/ your language');

I've changed it to :

// page title

define('TITLE', 'Moto Performance, Inc.');

I've also changed the:

Admin panel : My Store | Configuration | Store Name

to Moto Performance, Inc.

But nothing is working...could it be something else that is affecting the codes?

Looking at the page code shows that it's in generated header tags. My guess is that you have the Header Tags contrib installed, in which case it's probably in includes/languages/english/header_tags.php.

Or try searching for the text.

There are 10 types of people in the world. Those who understand binary and those who do not.
