Can I receive sale confirmation email

OK ive just realised when i sell something i dont receive anything as the store owner telling me that somebody has bought something from my site. How can I change this please. Can i receive a confirmation email notifying me that ive made a sale on my site.

Under your admin, you can set the Send Extra Order e-mails to multiple e-mail address and should be able to input yours there (don't you get the same one then as the customer?)

Ive done that, id have thought there was a better way of doing it, is there??

 

Mind you it might make it easier this way when buyers phone up with quiries, i can just search for their email as their name etc and email address will be on the email copy i received making it easy to find their order details.

I have tried this and I have made 3 sample orders.... I get the email from the successful order, but not as the owner of the site.

I think thats all you can do, i just changed the text in the subject box of the email to order confirmation instead of order process.

 

Your after something alongs the lines of "your site has received an order" or something arent you.

I am looking to get an email from the board which says someone has bought something so I can start fulfilling the order. Instead of waiting for customer to tell me they did.

The admin email confirmation is a perfectly acceptable way of doing this - you get a copy of their order sent to you, and you can act on it as soon as it appears in your inbox. There is no need for you to have a custom email just for yourself, all the relevant order information is on the customer email.
