Date format at the footer

Recommended Posts

dear members,

i'm working on a store, (http://konyvmutatvany.gas-line.hu/catalog) selling books. this is only in hungarian. there is no other currency, no language.

the hungarian translation is pretty good, thanks to netkey, only a few things had to be changed according to books. :)

the problem is, that the date at the footer is still in english "style". i mean it is in the right order, (yyyy/mm/dd) - i could change at the date format, but the day of the week and the name of the month is still in english.

is there any way to change it to hungarian?

January - janu?r

February - febru?r,

Monday - h?tfő

Tuesday - kedd,

Thank in advance...

I had the same problem.

In fact the answer is in your hungarian.php file, what you'll find in the ...catalog/includes/languages subdirectory.

Look for this entry:

// look in your $PATH_LOCALE/locale directory for available locales..

// on RedHat try 'en_US'

// on FreeBSD try 'en_US.ISO_8859-1'

// on Windows try 'en', or 'English'

setlocale(LC_TIME, 'hu_HU');

Change the function:

setlocale(LC_TIME, 'hu_HU');

that it looks like this:

@setlocale(LC_TIME, 'hu');

?s k?sz! ;)
