Hi all,

I moved a friends site to a new server and everything seems to be Ok, except the layout and the images are not working.

when you view the properties of the images, it shows the path to the images is in http:///images.

This is supposed to be: http://www.cathystshirts.com/images

Can anyone help me out here.

The problem site is http://www.cathystshirts.com

Thanks

you have probably not made the proper configure.php changes.

double check that, make sure the document_root is going to the right place.

you can also post your configure.php file here without the database info.password, username

Here is the configure.php file in /includes

// Define the webserver and path parameters

// * DIR_FS_* = Filesystem directories (local/physical)

// * DIR_WS_* = Webserver directories (virtual/URL)

define('HTTP_SERVER', 'http://www.cathystshirts.com'); // eg, http://localhost - should not be empty for productive servers

define('HTTPS_SERVER', ''); // eg, https://localhost - should not be empty for productive servers

define('ENABLE_SSL', false); // secure webserver for checkout procedure?

define('HTTP_COOKIE_DOMAIN', 'www.cathystshirts.com');

define('HTTPS_COOKIE_DOMAIN', '');

define('HTTP_COOKIE_PATH', '/');

define('HTTPS_COOKIE_PATH', '');

define('DIR_WS_HTTP_CATALOG', '/');

define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_CATALOG', '');

define('DIR_WS_IMAGES', 'images/');

define('DIR_WS_ICONS', DIR_WS_IMAGES . 'icons/');

define('DIR_WS_INCLUDES', 'includes/');

define('DIR_WS_BOXES', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'boxes/');

define('DIR_WS_FUNCTIONS', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'functions/');

define('DIR_WS_CLASSES', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'classes/');

define('DIR_WS_MODULES', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'modules/');

define('DIR_WS_LANGUAGES', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'languages/');

define('DIR_WS_DOWNLOAD_PUBLIC', 'pub/');

define('DIR_FS_CATALOG', '/home/cathy/public_html/');

define('DIR_FS_DOWNLOAD', DIR_FS_CATALOG . 'download/');

define('DIR_FS_DOWNLOAD_PUBLIC', DIR_FS_CATALOG . 'pub/');

I too am having this exact same problem. The thing is that the code has not changed.

My hosting company is 123eHosts.

I only noticed it in the last 2 days.

Not sure if this can have anything to do with this problem.

Thanks

Dave

a view source is showing your images as images/m60" images/m70 images/cowboys.jpe

either no extension or the wrong extension did you perhaps upload the images in ascii rather than binary

No longer giving free advice. Please place deposit in meter slot provided.  Individual: [=] SME: [==] Corporation: [===]
If deposit does not fit one of the slots provided then you are asking too much! :P

Is your Osc dated try Phoenix  raising oscommerce from the ashes.

I now got the images working by defining the obsolute path http://www.cathystshirts.com/images/ in the configuration file.

then the style sheet isn't working. I also defined the obsolute path to the style sheet in the index page, but there are many more pages that the style sheet isn't working on, anyone have any ideas?
